Description
A cheerful sunset orange and baby blue set of Rayalon Inc Melamac dinnerware from the 60s. Consists of 7 blue bowls(6.25in x 1.25in), 6 orange bowls (5in x 1.25in), 4 orange plates (6.25in x 1.25in) and 1 orange gravy boat (9in x 3.25in x 4.25in). Plastic dinnerware was found in many homes from the 1940s through the 1970s and is highly collectable. The Rayalon set is a particularly nice example of spare, sculptural design. The condition is consistent with age and use. There is a chip on one of the orange plates, as shown. A surface crack on the bottom of a blue bowl, as shown. Scratches and scuffs, especially on the blue plates and bowls, as shown.
