Elegant and eclectic, the McGuire Model No. M-26 chair features solid wood construction, rawhide corner wraps, a center rattan inverted teardrop ring with upholstered, double-welted cushion. This center ring is framed by a straight rattan top rail and curved rattan side members that terminate as saber back legs. The chair features gently sloping armrests. A substantial seat cushion is supported by a reeded deck. Original labels, great quality and form, circa mid-late 20th century. Measurements: 34″ H x 22″ W x 22″ D x 18.5″ Seat height x 24.5″ Armrest height. Great for use in many decors including chinoiserie, Chinese Chippendale, Hollywood Regency, Beach House, Traditional, and Transitional.
Excellent vintage condition, consistent with age and use. Comes with extra upholstery fabric.
