Incredible couture-finished Goldworm black and blue floral wool knit dress with black velvet trim. Labeled US 14, however it would best fit contemporary sizes US 8-10. The Goldworm Knitwear Company designed high fashion women’s clothing through the 1980s. It won numerous prestigious awards for its design work, including the Coty Award and the Editorial Fashion Award by Glamour Magazine. In 1968, Goldworm became the first American designer to receive the Premio Mercurio D’Oro, Italy’s highest award for commercial and economic achievement.
This is a vintage item from the 70s. Condition, consistent with age and use.
